Job Description
Job Overview
We are looking for QA Engineers with strong Manual and Automation Testing experience who can support both mobile device testing and IT software testing.
The role involves validating mobile devices, mobile applications, and web applications through structured QA processes to ensure high quality before product or software release.
The candidate will work with multiple mobile devices (10–15 devices), perform device benchmarking against competitor devices, and also participate in software QA testing including functional, regression, API, and automation testing.
Key ResponsibilitiesMobile Device Testing - Mandatory
- Perform manual testing of mobile devices before market launch.
- Conduct network testing to validate connectivity, signal performance, and network stability.
- Perform camera testing, including comparison with competitor devices.
- Execute device performance testing, including battery, UI responsiveness, and system stability.
- Conduct beta testing in real-world environments.
- Perform competitive device testing using multiple market devices.
- Support testing across different locations and network environments.
Software QA Testing
- Perform Manual Testing of web and mobile applications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Conduct Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, and UAT support.
- Perform API Testing using tools like Postman.
- Validate application workflows, data validation, and integrations.
Automation Testing
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
- Work with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Support test automation for mobile and web applications.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Defect Management
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira.
- Work closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Prepare test reports and defect analysis.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Software QA Testing (Manual Testing).
- Experience in Automation Testing using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Experience in Mobile Testing (Android/iOS).
- Understanding of Mobile Device Testing concepts such as network and camera validation.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in QA Testing.
- Experience in both software QA and mobile device testing.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Ability to handle multiple devices and testing environments
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work with 10–15 mobile devices simultaneously for testing and comparison
- Willingness to support field testing in different network environments
- Ability to work in both lab and real-world testing environments
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with smartphone OEM testing environments
- Experience with Android device debugging tools
- Knowledge of mobile hardware and performance benchmarking
