The Position

Our Junior Network Administrators are an important part of keeping our network running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll support the day-to-day operation of our network, from troubleshooting and maintenance to deploying new services and technologies. By working closely with internal teams and responding to escalations, you’ll help deliver reliable, high-performance connectivity while developing your skills across a wide range of systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Layer 2/3 access network.
  • Deployment and support of commercial services
  • IPTV deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Handling escalations from the Call Centre and field installers
  • Maintenance of internal office network and services
  • Linux server and services configuration, deployment, and monitoring
  • Testing and deployment of new network access and CPE technologies
  • On-call/standby duty and scheduled after-hours maintenance work

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Technical diploma or certificate in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge (802.1Q, STP, TCP/IP stack, DHCP, BNG, IGMP)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring software and solutions
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage simultaneous projects across multiple domains
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with remote management protocols (NETCONF, RESTCONF, SNMP)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a vehicle
  • Experience with Nokia SROS and Cisco IOS-XE
  • Experience with Wi-Fi technologies
  • Experience in Linux server and services deployments (DHCP/DNS/Web Server/Syslog/NTP)
  • Familiarity with GPON, G.fast, and G.hn access technologies
  • Familiarity with TR-069 (CWMP) and ACS for CPE provisioning and management
  • Familiarity with network automation tools and frameworks (Ansible,Nornir,Netmico)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
