Well respected Woodbridge company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our clients' equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the seamless operation of our clients’ operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain equipment at client sites to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
- Provide training and guidance and support to clients regarding system operation and best practices.
- Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service status, issues, and resolutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities.
- Travel to various client locations as required, may involve overnight stays.
Qualifications
- 5+ years proven experience in mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance, with industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Excellent English communication skills for clear interaction with clients and team members.
- Proven experience in being able to train on equipment operation to support clients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple service calls efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Technical certifications(Millwright or Electrician).
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions safely.
- Valid Passport.

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
