Experienced ICU Nurse Needed Immediately

Join the ICU team as an experienced Registered Nurse. Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced Level 3 unit while maintaining a commitment to patient safety and teamwork.

The successful candidate will need great critical thinking abilities and the capacity to navigate a rapidly changing, stressful environment. Interaction with patients and their families is key, and support for physicians through care planning is essential. A minimum of 2 years of clinical hospital experience is required, preferably with critical care experience as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to a group of assigned patients
• Assess patient conditions and provide education
• Work with physicians on treatment modalities
• Engage in educational opportunities for staff
• Collaborate effectively within a healthcare team

Requirements

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Critical Care Certificate from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years clinical experience, 1-year critical care preferred
• Must possess strong communication skills and critical thinking
