Job Description
Northstone Concrete is a growing concrete formwork company expanding into additional construction services. We are looking for a strong, experienced Working Foreman to lead our crews, manage job sites, and be the face of Northstone on every project. Position Overview
As Working Foreman, you will be hands-on in the field while also managing the day-to-day operation of your crew. You will oversee job sites, coordinate with clients, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for a crew of approximately 3–4 workers and report directly to ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a crew of carpenters and concrete workers on active job sites
- Perform hands-on formwork and carpentry tasks alongside your crew
- Plan and organize daily work assignments and site activities
- Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, and ownership
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Forming foundations, architectural concrete walls and stairs
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site
- Mentor and support crew members to develop their skills
What You’ll Be Working On
- ICF & Conventional foundations
- Architectural concrete walls and feature structures
- Concrete stairs and flatwork forming
- Framing and general carpentry as services expand
- Collaboration across growing service offerings
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry, concrete formwork, or a related trade required
- Proven experience leading or supervising a crew
- Solid knowledge of concrete forming, framing, and carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Valid driver's license
Assets
- Experience with framing and other carpentry trades
- Familiarity with architectural concrete and decorative forming
- First Aid certification
- Experience working across multiple trades
- Experience in finishing concrete

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
