Grumman is seeking a Locksmith 3 to:

  • Install, repair, and maintain records on a variety of locks and locking devices.
  • Open locks, make keys, and change lock combinations using hand tools and special equipment such as picks, files, grinders, saws, buffers, gauges, and drills.
  • Disassemble locks such as padlocks, safe locks, and door locks, and repair or replace worn tumblers, springs, and other parts.
  • May cut a variety of new or duplicate keys; changes key lock combinations for different key variations or to correlate with master key system.
  • Maintain records of locks, keys, and combinations to safes, vaults, files, cabinets, vehicles, and other equipment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Locksmith experience with High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearance.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Requires physical ability to lift and carry objects up to approximately 40 lbs.
  • Ability to climb and maneuver ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Associated Locksmiths of America certification.
  • Experience integrating electrified locks with physical access control systems.
  • Lockmasters X09 and/or X10 Certification.
  • Experience installing, repairing/replacing, and changing combinations on S&G and Trilogy locks.
  • 2+ years working with Medeco high security locks and key systems.

Salary and Benefits

  • Primary Level Salary Range: $69,300.00 - $
  • Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus.
  • Annual bonuses designed to reward individual contributions and share in company results.
  • Employees in VP or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
  • Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
