Job Overview

Join our team as a Residential Carpenter specializing in custom-designed outdoor living spaces, where craftsmanship and attention to detail define every project. In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to the construction of high-quality screened porches, decks, and hardscapes—helping transform residential properties into functional, well-crafted environments.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team on a range of projects, from renovations to fully custom builds, playing an important role in bringing thoughtfully designed spaces to life. Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction of custom-designed outdoor living spaces, including sunrooms, 3 season rooms, screened porches, decks, and hardscape features.
• Support layout, framing, and structural work with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
• Install premium materials such as decking, custom rail systems, screening systems, and detailed trim elements.
• Contribute to hardscape installations including paver patios, walkways, and retaining walls, ensuring alignment with design plans.
• Operate hand and power tools with accuracy to achieve clean, professional-grade results.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site that reflects the company’s high standards and professionalism.
• Follow detailed plans and collaborate with team members to execute custom-designed builds to exact specifications.
• Assist with final detailing and project closeout to deliver a polished, client-ready finished product.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, deck construction, porch building, or hardscaping, preferably within higher-end residential projects.
• Strong familiarity with construction tools, materials, and installation techniques, including composite and specialty products.
• Detail-oriented with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship and refined finishes.
• Ability to interpret plans and proactively identify potential issues or improvements.
• Professional and respectful when working in client-occupied homes and properties.
• Reliable, team-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Physically capable of performing outdoor labor, including lifting materials and working in varying weather conditions.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of carpentry or residential construction experience, with exposure to finish work or detail-oriented projects preferred.

Work Location: In person. Serving the Virginia Counties of Fairfax, Prince William, Stafford, Fauquier & Loudoun
