The Leader, Strategic Broker Partnerships at Evaluate is a high-impact, dual-sided role that sits at the intersection of business development, financial technology, and institutional research. You will serve as the primary commercial architect for our broker-dealer ecosystem, responsible for both hunting and onboarding new research partners and managing the sophisticated operational lifecycle of existing ones. This is a bilateral relationship model where you will negotiate partnership constructs, similar to those found at major FinTech providers, ensuring that global and regional brokers both consume Evaluate's life sciences data to power their analysis and distribute their research back through our network. Beyond building broker partnerships, you will own the end-to-end operational rigor of your book, managing agreement updates, change orders, and entitlement workflows to ensure Evaluate remains a mission-critical component of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Partnership Acquisition & "Bilateral" Deal Making

  • New Network Growth: Prospect for and onboard new research sources and institutional partners. You will pitch the Evaluate value proposition to Heads of Research and COOs
  • Innovative Partner Constructs: Architect and negotiate complex, bilateral agreements that go beyond simple licensing, incorporating data-sharing, joint distribution, and integrated workflow models.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations for new contracts and renewals, ensuring favorable commercial terms that reflect the reciprocal value of the partnership.

Operational Management & Governance

  • Lifecycle Maintenance: Manage the ongoing operational health of the partnership, including executing Agreement Updates, Change Orders, and amendments as the scope of data or distribution evolve.
  • Onboarding & Entitlements: Coordinate with internal Product to ensure smooth onboarding and entitlement requirements.
  • Usage & Maintenance Analysis: Monitor and report on research usage signals. Provide quarterly reporting on partner visibility and manage any applicable royalty or revenue-share calculations.

Relationship & Account Ownership

  • Commercial Stewardship: Act as the primary commercial owner for a book of global and regional sell-side firms. Own the forecasting, strategy, and successful renewal of every partnership.
  • Adoption & Strategy: Act as a strategic advisor to analyst teams at partner firms, driving deep adoption of Evaluate tools to ensure they realize measurable productivity gains.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify relationship friction or usage drops, executing mitigation plans to protect long-term partnership value.

Requirements

  • FinTech & Financial Services Experience: You come from a background in partnership deals at firms, or a high-growth FinTech. You understand the "plumbing" of how brokers operate, how research is distributed, and how data flows through the street.
  • The "Bilateral" Mindset: You understand that a partnership is a two-way street. You are skilled at balancing the needs of Evaluate's content network with the commercial goals of the broker-dealers.
  • Operational Rigour: You are comfortable tracking change orders, managing contract versions, and ensuring CRM hygiene
  • Credible Communicator: You have the executive presence to negotiate with a Research COO or Head of Distribution while remaining technical enough to discuss API integrations or metadata with a product team.
