At Nooks, we value innovation, collaboration, and a service-first mindset.</p></div><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE:</strong></p> <p>The Senior Accountant will support Nooks’ on-going efforts to implement and refine future-state close processes and procedures, auditor requests, research and validate possible tax treatments and strategies, and review 3^rd party accounting treatments for accuracy.&nbsp; This is an individual contributor role with partial dotted-line management duties for our 3^rd party accounting team.</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End close processes in conjunction with the 3^rd party accounting team.</li> <li>Review close processes and procedures for reasonableness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Vet potential software improvements to support a more efficient accounting function, including the usage of automated / AI-assisted book-keeping and JE entry.</li> <li>Support research into tax strategies as Nooks continues to grow.</li> </ul> <p><strong>THE SKILLSET:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5-7 years of accounting experience (Audit, Tax, AP/AR, etc.).</li> <li>CPA preferred.</li> <li>Comfort with independent research on company accounting policy inputs &amp; treatments.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Salary Range for all departments</p></div><div class="title">Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$170,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$190,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
