Role Description
Nirvaya Health is pleased to introduce a 1 month experiential internship in Chandigarh, designed for individuals interested in developing a deeper, more contextual understanding of children, adolescents, and families.
This program is grounded in a non pathologising and intersectional approach, with a focus on understanding behaviour within real life social, cultural, and familial contexts. It integrates psychological foundations with creative and reflective practices, offering a balanced and applied learning experience.
Date of commencement: 2 June 2026
Interns will gain exposure to:
- Child and adolescent mental health frameworks
- Art based and expressive approaches
- Family centred perspectives
- NGO and community based settings
- Reflective and ethical practice
This internship cum training program is well suited for students and early professionals who are looking to engage with mental health in a more sensitive, inclusive, and context aware manner.
Eligibility:
Psychology undergraduates or individuals currently pursuing graduation in psychology with a keen interest in child and adolescent mental health are welcome to apply.
