Job Description
A Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, and drainage systems.
- Fix leakage in water pipelines and plumbing fixtures.
- Install sinks, toilets, wash basins, and water heaters.
- Check and maintain water supply and drainage systems.
- Identify plumbing problems and provide proper solutions.
- Ensure all plumbing work is done safely and properly.
- Perform regular maintenance and emergency repairs.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials.
- Experience in pipe fitting and plumbing repairs.
- Ability to read simple plumbing layouts or drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit for field work
