Fleet and Logistics Coordinator (India)

NIMS University is looking for a result-driven Transport Incharge to lead and optimize our campus transportation system. The ideal candidate will ensure timely service delivery, drive fuel efficiency, and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and reliable transport services for students, faculty, and staff
• Plan and optimize routes to improve operational efficiency and reduce delays
• Implement strategies for fuel efficiency enhancement and cost optimization
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, and safety compliance
• Manage and monitor transport vendors, contracts, and performance
• Supervise drivers and transport staff to ensure discipline and service quality
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and MIS for transport operations
• Handle escalations, breakdowns, and emergency situations efficiently

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 3–7 years of experience in transport/logistics or fleet management
• Proven experience in vendor management and cost control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of transport regulations and fleet maintenance
• Leadership ability with a hands-on approach
