Role Overview:
At NiCE, we are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer [Cloud Operations] with expertise in AWS and Azure environments to drive operational excellence, cloud security, automation, and cost optimization. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our multi-cloud infrastructure, implementing IAM processes, enforcing FinOps practices, integrating Okta for identity management, and supporting development teams through CI/CD workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of production cloud environments across AWS and Azure, managing services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, AKS, Storage Accounts, and VNets.
- Architect and maintain secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM, and CloudFormation.
- Enhance system reliability, performance, and availability, handle incident response, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Manage IAM across AWS and Azure, including role creation, policy management, permission boundaries, and least-privilege access models.
- Provision and manage cloud accounts/subscriptions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and integrating Okta, Azure AD, and AWS IAM Identity Center for SSO/MFA.
- Implement FinOps practices to control and optimize spend, generate cost reports, forecasts, and optimization recommendations, and ensure proper tagging and budget alerts.
- Govern Git workflow, support CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps deployments, develop automation tools using Python/Bash for operational efficiency.
- Possess 3+ years of experience in Cloud Operations/SRE/DevOps roles, strong expertise in AWS and Azure, deep knowledge of IAM, FinOps tools/practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Proficient in Okta, Azure AD, scripting/automation (Python or Bash), network, security, monitoring, and willing to work in complete night shifts.
