Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months
NHS Tayside has recently developed their Digital Strategy and at the heart of this lies an ambition to have a Datacentre Infrastructure team at the pinnacle of technical excellence which can be used as an example to others.
This is an exciting time to join NHS Tayside Digital Directorate as the Datacentre Team are key to day to day patient care and we are going through a period of Service improvement and modernisation which will lead to further opportunities within the directorate.
The Person We Are Looking For
Is Highly Skilled, working in high frequency time critical environments.
Interested in Technology
Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux, Nutanix, Cloud
Is a good problem solver
Doesn't mind writing documentation
Doesn't mind variance as this is an Infrastructure role, tasks may not always be identified
Ideally Degree/HND Certified and or have the necessary previous experience of in an ICT environment.

The Digital Team are currently based in MacKenzie Building - Ninewells campus, Dundee
Training – Various courses are provided as well as Certification in select Microsoft Products
You will be part of a strong team with a strong team ethic.
Current NHS Tayside employee's - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment.
