246414 Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner on a long-term locum basis to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team at Parkgrove Medical Practice. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner. A proven track record of applying sound decision-making skills to assess, diagnose and treat medical conditions is necessary for this position.

We recognise that Advanced Practitioners from all disciplines will become the backbone of primary care. This diverse role will involve managing acute presentations, minor illnesses, and home visits. The ideal candidate will hold a degree level nursing qualification, with current NMC registration and be able to evidence highly developed specialist knowledge to Masters equivalent level, with significant comprehensive post registration experience.

The candidate will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessments, initiating investigations, formulating management plans and undertaking appropriate interventions. A proven track record of applying sound decision making skills is necessary for this position. Non-medical prescribing is essential.

Up to 10 locum sessions per week, session payments can be discussed.
