Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily, weekly and monthly production performance across all manufacturing facilities
• Drive standardisation of processes, work instructions and operating rhythms across sites
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on labour efficiency, throughput, waste reduction and OEE
• Identify and implement automation opportunities suited to a labour‑intensive manufacturing environment
• Manage manufacturing cost performance including labour, materials, overheads and maintenance spend
• Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, forecasts and capacity plans in alignment with business demand
• Ensure strong safety leadership, WHS compliance and proactive risk management across all sites
• Establish and maintain preventative maintenance and asset reliability programmes
• Lead, coach and develop site‑based leadership teams and succession plans
• Work closely with NEX Building Group construction teams to improve communication, planning accuracy and delivery outcomes
• Work with Engineering and R&D teams to support continuous improvement and new solutions

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven experience leading multi‑site manufacturing operations
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and OEE in practical factory environments
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing manufacturing budgets and cost drivers
• Clear communicator capable of bridging operational and commercial priorities
