Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily, weekly and monthly production performance across all manufacturing facilities
- Drive standardisation of processes, work instructions and operating rhythms across sites
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on labour efficiency, throughput, waste reduction and OEE
- Identify and implement automation opportunities suited to a labour‑intensive manufacturing environment
- Manage manufacturing cost performance including labour, materials, overheads and maintenance spend
- Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, forecasts and capacity plans in alignment with business demand
- Ensure strong safety leadership, WHS compliance and proactive risk management across all sites
- Establish and maintain preventative maintenance and asset reliability programmes
- Lead, coach and develop site‑based leadership teams and succession plans
- Work closely with NEX Building Group construction teams to improve communication, planning accuracy and delivery outcomes
- Work with Engineering and R&D teams to support continuous improvement and new solutions
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience leading multi‑site manufacturing operations
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and OEE in practical factory environments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing manufacturing budgets and cost drivers
- Clear communicator capable of bridging operational and commercial priorities
