  • Respond to and resolve complex infrastructure and middleware issues spanning hardware, operating systems, middleware stacks, applications, and networks. Develop automation scripts for faster remediation and reliability.
  • Collaborate with application groups, system administrators, and vendors to deliver lasting solutions; install, configure, patch, and upgrade middleware technologies (WebLogic, WebSphere, Curam, DIP) as well as UNIX/Linux servers across on-premises and cloud environments. Ensure security hardening, compatibility, and high availability and leverage observability tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, PagerDuty, and Turbonomics to monitor and tune both middleware and infrastructure.
  • Proactively prevent outages and ensure consistent, high-performing integrations. Additionally, this role will participate in the evaluation, design, and planning of modernized data center and cloud solutions, with focus on middleware resiliency, integration reliability, and system scalability; partner with cross-functional teams to define best practices, standard operating procedures, and process improvements across middleware and infrastructure operations and ensure middleware and UNIX/Linux systems adhere to agency security standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
