Job Title: OT Nurse / ICU Sister / Ward Nurse

Location: Hospital-based

Department: Nursing

Reporting To: Nursing Superintendent / Medical Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking qualified and dedicated nursing professionals for OT, ICU, and Ward areas. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining clinical standards, and ensuring patient safety in accordance with hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

1. OT Nurse (Operation Theatre)

• Prepare operation theatre before and after surgeries
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and available
• Maintain OT asepsis and infection control protocols
• Monitor patient condition during procedures
• Maintain accurate OT records and documentation

2. ICU Sister (Intensive Care Unit)

• Provide critical care to patients in ICU
• Monitor vital signs and maintain patient charts
• Operate and handle ICU equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, etc.)
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Respond to emergencies and assist in resuscitation procedures
• Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols
• Guide and supervise junior nursing staff

3. Ward Nurse

• Provide routine nursing care to admitted patients
• Administer medications and treatments as per doctor’s orders
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes
• Maintain patient records and documentation
• Assist doctors during rounds and procedures
• Educate patients and relatives regarding care and discharge instructions
• Ensure cleanliness and discipline in the ward

General Responsibilities (Applicable to All)

• Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, and nursing protocols
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality
• Adhere to infection control practices
• Coordinate with doctors and other departments
• Maintain qualified behavior and communication

Experience

• Experienced candidates can apply
• ICU/OT experience preferred for specialized roles

Working Conditions

• Rotational shifts (Day/Night)
• Hospital-based duty

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
