Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer (IE) for our Cut-to-Pack garment manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for improving productivity, line balancing, work study, time study, and ensuring smooth production flow from cutting to packing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct time & motion studies for various operations.
- Perform line balancing to achieve target efficiency.
- Prepare operation breakdown (OB) and Standard Minute Value (SMV).
- Monitor daily production efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Identify bottlenecks in sewing lines and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with production, quality, and planning teams.
- Implement lean manufacturing and productivity improvement tools.
- Ensure optimal manpower utilization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SMV calculation & line balancing
- Experience in Cutting, Sewing, Finishing & Packing processes
- Good understanding of garment construction
- Proficiency in MS Excel & production reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in garment manufacturing (Cut to Pack)
