About The Role Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a QUA Auditor to join their team in Brockville, ON. As a QUA Auditor, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Department, supporting the quality team in maintaining and enhancing product quality standards.

The role involves conducting detailed inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality management systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a controlled Goods Clearance and be able to work on-site in Brockville, ON. A strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards such as ISO and ISO 13485:2016 is essential.

Candidates should have a post-secondary diploma or degree in a technical field, verified prior to employment, along with at least three years of manufacturing quality experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Experience conducting internal and external quality audits, familiarity with supplier management, and proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, and SAP are highly valued. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks efficiently is critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Approve product disposition following inspection, testing, and documentation review to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve plant non-conformances prior to product release, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Coach production floor operators to foster a culture of quality awareness and proactive prevention of non-conformances.
  • Lead and resolve plant quality issues, including non-conformances, customer complaints, and CAPAs, by implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
  • Manage supplier operations, including handling Supplier Corrective Action Requests, product returns, conducting supplier assessments, and performing on-site supplier audits.
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and quality system upgrades.
