Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced low voltage Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of cable systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair cable systems.
• Perform cable terminations, pulling, dressing, splicing, and testing of CAT6 and others cables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cable connections and signal quality.
• Install and configure network equipment, including security cameras, Wi-Fi, Access Control and others.
• Complete Server Room Buildouts; and Installations of Cabinets, Equipment Racks, & Ladder Racks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have minimum of 2 years of low voltage cabling experience.
• Ability to perform network installations and configurations.
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and maintenance.
• Previous experience as a cable technician or in a related field (e.g., service technician, electrical).
• Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be self-motivated, willing to work hard, punctual, honest, reliable, and able to work well with others.

-Physical requirements include the ability to lift 30+ pounds, frequent bending, stooping, working in tight spaces and on ladders.

-Must have reliable transportation.

-Willing to work or commute to job sites primarily Virginia, Maryland and DC and occasional out of town.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
