NetBenefit SoftwareJob Description
Content Marketing Specialist
St. John’s Area | Full-time | Reports to: Vice President, Sales & Marketing
About NetBenefit Software
NetBenefit Software is a growing SaaS company helping resource and energy companies understand, manage, and improve how their operations impact communities and the world around them.
Our platform supports stakeholder engagement, commitments tracking, grievance management, socioeconomic impact tracking, community investment, and reporting. We help teams move away from spreadsheets and disconnected systems so they can better manage relationships, measure impact, meet obligations, and move projects forward in a more equitable way.
We are opening this role to strengthen how we show up in the market through useful content, customer stories, and digital channels. This role will help turn our expertise, customer success, and product value into content that builds trust, educates buyers, and supports our growth.
This is a strong opportunity for a motivated, fast-learning candidate in the St. John’s area who wants to accelerate their career in B2B SaaS marketing. You will gain hands-on experience across content creation, customer storytelling, digital marketing, customer advocacy, and growth while working closely with sales, marketing, customer success, product, and leadership.
About the Role
As our Content Marketing Specialist, you will create and distribute useful, credible content that reaches the right audience and helps build trust in our market.
This is a content-first role. Your main focus will be turning company expertise, customer stories, industry insights, and product knowledge into clear, practical content for our target buyers. Customer advocacy will also be an important part of the role, including customer stories, testimonials, and review programs such as G2.
You will also help make sure our content reaches the right people, performs well, and continues to improve over time through thoughtful distribution and measurement.
You will work closely with sales, customer success, product, and leadership to identify content opportunities, bring fresh ideas, and turn insights from our team and customers into high-impact content across our website, LinkedIn, email, events, customer advocacy programs, and other relevant channels.
This is a builder role. You will help strengthen our content engine, test new ideas, and create work that supports trust, market awareness, and revenue growth.

- Set up and grow our G2 presence by completing the profile, building a repeatable review request process, and generating an initial base of 10-20 credible customer reviews within the first 6-12 months.
- Track and report monthly on content and advocacy performance, including content output, engagement, website traffic, email performance, customer proof assets created, G2 profile progress, reviews generated, and contentinfluenced meetings or opportunities.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $60,000-$80,000 CAD, depending on experience.
