Full Time Pharmacy Assistant

Pharmasave #428 is looking for a Pharmacy Assistan t to join our team in Melfort , Saskatchewan. Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care

Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner

Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician

Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits

Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers

Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Previous Pharmacy Assistant experience in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software, Kroll is an asset.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

40 hours per week (Full-time)

• The store operates Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Standard shifts are scheduled within these hours.
• This position requires working at least one weekend shift per month.
