The team of over 1400 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.</div><h3>The role </h3> The Data Center Technician Manager leads hands-on technical teams responsible for cabling, hardware installation, and day-to-day data center operations. This role balances people leadership, technical execution, and operational rigor in a 24/7 mission-critical environment. Your responsibilities will include:  <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians supporting fiber, copper cabling, racking, stacking, and infrastructure installs.</li> <li>Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage cabling and communications infrastructure.</li> <li>Ensure high-quality execution of fiber and copper terminations, testing, and remediation of complex issues.</li> <li>Own and enforce MOP/CMOP processes, change control, and operational best practices.</li> <li>Manage work through ticketing and infrastructure management systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion.</li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation, port maps, and inventory, supporting audits and operational readiness.</li> <li>Drive incident response and escalation for technical issues, ensuring SLA adherence and rapid resolution.</li> <li>Lead the use of specialized test equipment (e.g., DSX, OTDR), including test planning and results validation.</li> <li>Enforce safety, compliance, and quality standards, promoting a culture of accountability and operational excellence.</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and project teams to support deployments, expansions, and upgrades.</li> </ul> We expect you to have:  <ul> <li>Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in IT, networking, or technical services.</li> <li>5+ years of data center or infrastructure experience, including cabling and hardware deployments.</li> <li>2+ years of experience leading technical teams in a mission-critical environment.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of structured cabling standards (BICSI, ANSI/TIA, NEC).</li> <li>Experience with fiber optics, copper cabling, servers, networking equipment, and power distribution basics.</li> <li>Ability to participate in on-call rotations and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).</li> </ul> It will be an added bonus if you have:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>Industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CDCP, CompTIA, ITIL).</li> <li>Experience in large-scale data center builds or migrations.</li> <li>Familiarity with Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and data center management tools.</li> <li>Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills.</li> </ul> Key employee benefits: <ul> <li>Health insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families.</li> <li>401(k) plan: up to 4% company match with immediate vesting.</li> <li>Parental leave: 20 weeks paid for primary caregivers, 12 weeks for secondary caregivers.</li> <li>Remote work reimbursement: up to $85/month for mobile and internet.</li> <li>Disability & life insurance: company-paid short-term, long-term and life insurance coverage.</li> </ul> Compensation We offer competitive salaries ranging from $115K to $225K OTE, which includes base salary and bonus.
