Job Description
The Finishing Producer (FP) works closely with Post-Production clients and members of the Post-Production team to orchestrate the successful finishing and delivery of spots daily. The FP will be the internal resource for editors and clients to assist in translating work orders so that requests are completed in a timely manner. The incumbent will support editors, producers, and audio engineers on projects as needed.
- Supervise daily versioning sessions
- Supervise mix sessions
- Client coordination
- Coordinate color correction of footage
- Basic knowledge of Adobe and Avid
- QC screen approval files before sending to Client and final spots
- Facilitate the final delivery of approved spots after QC
- Facilitate meetings with edit team and/or Client when needed
- Central communication for Tech Ops edit team between Client and Project Management team as needed
- Coordinate with on-air contact for house numbers and Airtable information
- Ability to respond to feedback, notes and/or revisions in a positive and creative way
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years experience in a Post-Production environment
- 1+ year of Client Services experience
- Must have working knowledge of post ecosystem
- Familiarity with digital file format and codecs
- Experience with digital campaigns
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of Airtable
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
