Senior Java Developer

Job Title: Senior Java Developer:

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6 to 12 Months

Java: Hands-on experience with Java 10 years

Spring, Hibernate, JPA: Hands-on experience 3-5 years

SQL: Creating SQL objects, joins, querying experience 3-5 years

VueJS or similar (REACT JS/Angular): 2-3 years

The developer will have a solid understanding of Java fundamentals and designing & developing a system using java based stack of technologies like Spring, Hibernate. Solid understanding of transactions, security, and various design patterns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software applications.
• Follow established software development standards and procedures and contribute towards their improvement.
• Support critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications and systems.
• Participate in peer code and design reviews.
• Coordinate with departments and users in the support of business applications.
• Contribute software development expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met.
• Develop complex application features and create technical designs.
• Represent the IT department in terms of software development expertise in coordination with other departments.
• Experienced with a wide range of technologies.
• Provide technical assistance to the team, as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Over ten years of directly related experience.
• Five years of operational and/or technical business leadership experience.
• Over ten years of experience in Java development, T-SQL/SQL, Oracle, Postgres, SDLC tools, source control, and RDBMS concepts.
• Java: Hands-on experience with Java 10 years
• Spring, Hibernate, JPA: Hands-on experience 3-5 years
• SQL: Creating SQL objects, joins, querying experience 3-5 years VueJS or similar (REACT JS/Angular): 2-3 years
