Job Description
As Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage team performance, ensure service quality, and support the growth of our clients. You will work closely with senior leadership to improve productivity, strengthen processes, and build a high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of bookkeeping and accounting support teams.
- Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and individual contributors.
- Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround times, and client deliverables.
- Drive operational efficiency through process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and client-specific requirements.
- Manage workforce planning, capacity utilization, and resource allocation.
- Track and report operational KPIs and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition on hiring and workforce planning.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and team development activities.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management within KPO, BPO, shared services, accounting services, or professional services.
- Experience managing teams of 20+ employees.
- Strong understanding of performance management and service delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Australian accounting or bookkeeping firms.
- Exposure to Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or other accounting platforms.
- Experience in process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, or accounts receivable processes.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
