Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Counsellor (Psychologist) to support the mental health and well-being of undergraduate students. The role involves providing individual and group counselling, applying evidence-based psychotherapies, and conducting workshops on mental health and wellness. The ideal candidate should be empathetic, ethical, and experienced in handling student-related concerns, including addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face counselling to students on campus
- Offer online counselling sessions as required
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Apply evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy
- Support students dealing with emotional, academic, and behavioural challenges, including addictions
- Organize and conduct workshops, webinars, and awareness programs on mental health topics
- Participate in crisis intervention and management when needed
- Develop and facilitate mental health content and programs
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, including monthly client intake and documentation
- Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in all counselling practices
- Strong understanding of psychological counselling techniques and mental health issues
- Ability to apply psychotherapies in real-life scenarios
- High level of empathy, integrity, and professionalism
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology (full-time) with specialization in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from a reputed institute
Professional Certifications
- Certified in counselling courses from a recognized/prestigious institute
- Certification and supervised training in CBT and REBT (preferably under experts associated with the Albert Ellis Institute or equivalent)
Professional Experience
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience in counselling
- Experience working with undergraduate or university-level students
- Proven experience in handling sensitive issues with confidentiality
- Experience in conducting workshops on mental health topics
