JOB DESCRIPTION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Organization: Confidential company (Non-Governmental Organization)
Reports To: Founder / Chairman
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹2.5 Lakh – ₹4 Lakh per annum (based on experience)

Job Summary
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for strengthening the financial sustainability and growth of Confidential company by mobilizing resources, developing CSR and donor partnerships, supporting fundraising initiatives, and expanding institutional collaborations. The role requires strong communication, proposal development, relationship management, and an understanding of the NGO/CSR ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Mobilization & Fundraising
Identify and approach potential donors, CSR partners, corporates, HNIs, and foundations
Support fundraising campaigns (online and offline) for education and women empowerment programs
Assist in developing fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals
CSR & Corporate Partnerships
Identify CSR opportunities under Schedule VII of the Companies Act
Build and maintain relationships with CSR heads and corporate decision-makers
Coordinate CSR meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
Proposal & Documentation Support
Assist in drafting concept notes, project proposals, budgets, and impact frameworks
Support preparation of donor reports, utilization certificates, and impact documentation
Maintain an updated repository of proposals and donor communication
Donor & Stakeholder Management
Maintain donor and partner databases
Ensure timely communication, reporting, and relationship nurturing
Coordinate donor visits and program exposure activities
Business Development & Outreach
Represent the organization at networking events, CSR forums, and conferences
Identify recent partnership opportunities with NGOs, institutions, and academic bodies
Support MoU drafting and partnership onboarding
