Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

To maintain and support the IT infrastructure of the organization, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems critical to manufacturing operations. This role focuses on servers, endpoints, storage systems, virtualization platforms, backups, patch management, endpoint security and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as the first point of contact for technical issues, providing front-line troubleshooting for hardware, software, and basic network connectivity
• They install/configure systems, manage user accounts (Active Directory), and escalate complex issues to L2 support, ensuring high user productivity and uptime
• Desktop/End-User Support: Troubleshooting Windows OS, MS Office, and peripherals (printers, scanners).
• Network Support: Diagnosing basic LAN/WAN connectivity issues, patching cables, and checking IP conflicts.
• Incident Management: Logging, updating, and resolving tickets in IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
• System Administration: Setting up user accounts, resetting passwords, and managing permissions via Active Directory.
• Hardware Deployment: Installing, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, Printers and Scanners.
• Remote Support
• Providing technical assistance via remote tools (VPN).
• Manage the CCTV environment.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma Engineering / BCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications like MCSA, ITIL, Windows Server, CompTIA Server+
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles.
