To ensure the organization’s growth and expand the reach of our solutions, Murbly is currently seeking a Business Development Advisor - Multi-Residential who is motivated to contribute to the transformation of the home charging industry as part of a dynamic team.

The mandate…

Under the supervision of the Sales Director, the Business Development Advisor - Multi-Residential plays a central role in supporting the various stakeholders involved in a project preparing an existing building for the addition of electric vehicle charging solutions (multi-residential, condominiums, etc.).

In order to ensure Murbly’s growth objectives, the person will also have a key business development mandate in British Columbia. The position requires being based in British Columbia to ensure a field presence and actively develop the network of partners and decision-makers. The person will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with the right decision-makers and partners, and developing market access levers to expand the services offered.

Supporting Growth & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities (prospecting, referrals, events, partnerships) and ensure opportunities progress through to completion.
  • Continuously integrate prospecting tools to identify key property managers and condominium corporations in order to present Murbly’s solutions and programs.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key decision-makers (property managers, boards of directors, associations, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders) in order to create market access opportunities.
  • Participate in networking and industry events (trade shows, symposiums, industry activities, etc.) and ensure proper follow-up on generated opportunities.
  • Increase and maintain awareness of Murbly’s expertise through outreach initiatives (presentations, content creation, collaborations, and speaking engagements).
  • Contribute to the evolution of Murbly’s service offering by sharing market insights, field challenges, opportunities, and client learnings.

Client Advisory, Support & Project Coordination (Multi-Residential / Condominium)

  • Analyze client needs (condominium corporations, property managers, condo owners) and recommend solutions best suited to their specific context.
  • Support clients in developing their strategy and implementing EV charging policies.
  • Coordinate the implementation of charging solutions with various stakeholders (electrical contractors, boards of directors, property managers, partners, etc.) and ensure all required follow-ups are completed.
  • Conduct follow-ups, maintain project momentum, and ensure a structured client experience from initial qualification through implementation.
  • Support clients in drafting and preparing required documentation, including rebate and grant applications based on available programs.
  • Contribute to the preparation of capacity study reports by documenting the client context, identified constraints (technical, operational, regulatory, or decision-making), analysis, and associated recommendations.

Promoting Expertise

  • Act as an internal resource for all matters related to multi-residential buildings, condominiums, and implementation strategies in British Columbia.
  • Design, improve, and maintain tools (guides, templates, decision-making content, educational materials) that facilitate the implementation of EV charging infrastructure in condominium environments.
  • Support stakeholder education and training (Strata Council members, property managers, condo owners, partners) through sessions, conferences, webinars, and events.
  • Conduct strategic monitoring related to industry trends, regulations, programs, and best practices, and share relevant insights internally.
  • Participate in industry committees and organizations in order to promote Murbly’s expertise and contribute to the adoption of EV charging solutions.
  • Analyze client needs (condominium corporations, property managers, condo owners) and recommend solutions best suited to their specific context.

Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or a certificate in a field related to administration, construction, real estate or project management.
  • Relevant experience (minimum 2 years) in the condominium / multi-residential environment.
  • Experience in business development / consultative sales / partnerships.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical issues related to multi-residential charging projects (installation constraints, implementation pathway, basic electrical elements, operational integration).
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Reside in British Columbia and be available for regular travel within the province.
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a vehicle (a plus if it is electric!).

  • Ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders (syndicates/stratas, property managers, condo owners, partners).
  • Strong communication and ability to simplify complex information (oral/written); comfortable with presentations, training and facilitation.
  • Analytical mindset, rigor and attention to detail, particularly for drafting deliverables (e.g., capacity study reports).
  • Autonomy, initiative and strong ability to manage priorities in a multi-project environment.
  • Structured, solutions-oriented approach and effective collaboration with internal teams and partners.
