Full-Time Labourer Municipal Role

The Municipality of North Cowichan seeks a full-time Labourer to enhance community services on Southern Vancouver Island. The ideal candidate should possess strong physical capabilities and a Class 3 B.C. Driver's Licence. Responsibilities include operating heavy machinery and handling various labour tasks within a supportive and environmentally aware community. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sanders and plows for winter maintenance
• Perform physical labour across various municipal projects
• Manage basic records and maintenance tools
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Respond to scheduled shifts including nights and weekends Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Valid Class 3 B.C. Driver's Licence with air endorsement
• Experience in construction or road maintenance is preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
