Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Associate to assemble, fit, and support the build of industrial packaging machines and automation systems. The role involves mechanical fitting, machine assembly, alignment, installation of machine components, and supporting machine trials while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies for packaging machines.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly layouts, and BOMs.
• Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, alignment, and fastening of machine parts.
• Install conveyors, pneumatic systems, actuators, bearings, shafts, guides, and machine structures.
• Perform precision alignment and adjustment of moving machine components.
• Support machine integration with electrical and automation teams.
• Conduct mechanical inspection and troubleshooting during machine assembly and testing.
• Assist in machine trial runs, debugging, and final inspection before dispatch.
• Ensure proper use of assembly tools, torque standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assembly workstations.
• Report assembly issues, material shortages, or drawing discrepancies to supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Production, or related trade.
• 1–5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or industrial machine manufacturing.
• Experience in packaging machinery, automation systems, or special-purpose machines preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Hands-on experience with fitting and assembly tools.
• Basic understanding of pneumatics and machine movements.
• Experience with packaging or automation machinery.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
