Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator (L3) responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls, along with experience in SonicWall firewalls, cloud networking, and security configurations in AWS and Azure.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in SonicWall firewall installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as Cisco networking devices and cloud firewall management.

• This position is strictly for candidates based in Mumbai.
• Candidates outside Mumbai should not apply.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on networking experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities - Network Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and upgrade routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of network services.
• Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control mechanisms.
• Conduct periodic network security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
• Act as the final escalation point (L3) for complex network incidents that cannot be resolved by L1/L2 support teams.
• Perform deep technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical network outages, performance degradation, and security incidents.
• Design and implement network architecture improvements, ensuring scalability, high availability, and security of the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Work closely with ISPs, cloud providers, and hardware vendors to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues.
• Lead the implementation of advanced network security controls, including firewall policy optimization, VPN architecture, segmentation, and secure network design.
• Analyze network logs, traffic patterns, and monitoring data to proactively identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers (L1/L2 teams).

Network Administration

• Configure and maintain essential network services such as:
• DNS
• DHCP
• VPN
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights related to network resources.
• Monitor network traffic, bandwidth utilization, and capacity planning.
• Perform network backup and disaster recovery operations.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems.

Network Troubleshooting and Support

• Respond to network-related incidents and service desk tickets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, routing, switching, and firewall issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring network problems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and end-users.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and third-party service providers for network issue resolution.

Network Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate network documentation, including:
• Network diagrams
• Configuration backups
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Generate periodic reports on network availability, performance, and security incidents.
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and security best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network administration.

• Hands-on experience with:
• Cisco Switches and Routers
• SonicWall Firewalls
• Wireless Network Infrastructure
• Familiarity with Cloud Networking, including:

• Cloud Firewalls
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Certifications

Candidates with the following certifications will have an added advantage:

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• CompTIA Network+

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
