Digital Marketing Intern (Paid Ads & SEO)

Are you studying marketing, communications, or business and want to build real hands-on experience across both paid advertising and local SEO? MRKTOPS is a Montreal-based growth firm working exclusively with trades and blue-collar businesses across Canada — and we're looking for a driven Digital Marketing Intern to join our team on a contract basis.

You'll work directly with our Head of Digital Marketing on live client accounts, touching both paid media and organic local presence. If you're the type who wants to understand the full picture of what makes a campaign perform, this role is for you.

What you'll do

• Build and manage Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns for real clients
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize toward key metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS)
• Support A/B testing of ad creatives, copy, and audience targeting
• Conduct local SEO audits, keyword research, and citation building
• Track performance across both paid and organic channels and contribute to client reports

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in a marketing, communications, business, or related program
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or SEO tools — even at a course or project level
• Hungry to learn and make campaigns actually perform — not just set and forget
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely (~10 hours/week), contract role
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required
