Job Description
As a Software Engineer III at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database-driven applications with a focus on Oracle PL/SQL development and strong front-end skills in JavaScript and HTML. Your role will involve integrating PL/SQL logic with modern web interfaces to deliver user-friendly solutions. Here is what you will be expected to do:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Create and maintain database schemas, indexes, and performance tuning.
- Develop web-based UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate front-end applications with Oracle Database using APEX, REST APIs, or MLE (Multi-Language Engine).
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts and UI/UX designers to deliver user-friendly solutions.
- Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 36 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and query optimization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Oracle APEX or Oracle MLE for integrating JavaScript with PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful Web services and JSON/XML data handling.
- Understanding of web security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education
- Bachelors/masters degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related area
