Location: Calgary, AB. Local travel to client and project sites required.

Mr. Starwall is looking for a driven Sales & Business Development Representative with commercial construction, interior design, architecture, commercial real estate, property management, or related B2B sales experience. This is a relationship-driven sales role focused on prospecting, building long-term client relationships, presenting the STARWALL product and turn-key solutions, preparing quotes, and helping clients transform their commercial spaces. The ideal candidate understands commercial interiors, can read or discuss drawings, and is comfortable building relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, realtors, property managers, owners, and business leaders.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain consistent prospecting activity and client outreach goals.
- Build relationships with the architecture and design community, general contractors, commercial realtors, property managers, owners, and referral partners.
- Develop weekly and annual sales goals tied to revenue targets.
- Plan daily sales activity around the STARWALL product, soundmasking, and turn-key opportunities.
- Conduct structured face-to-face sales calls and maximize multiple opportunities in the same area.
- Participate in Monday sales meetings and present weekly sales activity and plans.
- Prepare project quotes in the SW system, including STARWALL presentations and turn-key budgets.
- Present quotes to clients, review invoices, and support deposit and final payment collection.
- Communicate project details, paperwork, permits, and special instructions to the PM, production, installation, and administration departments.
- Coordinate pre-installation meetings and help schedule installations efficiently.
- Support project checklists, site meetings, photos, change orders, progress updates, punch lists, final walk-throughs, client sign-off, and post-project reviews.
Qualifications
- Commercial construction, interior design, architecture, commercial real estate, property management, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success in relationship-based sales, outside sales, business development, or project-based selling.
- Comfortable prospecting, cold calling, networking, and meeting clients face to face.
- Ability to understand commercial workspaces, drawings, project timelines, and client needs.
- Existing relationships with architects, designers, commercial realtors, property managers, owners, or contractors are a strong asset.
- Strong communication, follow-up, organization, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, quoting systems, and project tracking tools.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable in a commission-based contractor role.
