Jr. Accountant / Bookkeeper

Job Overview

Monument Metals is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our growing finance and operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and able to handle a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and monthly transaction matching and account verification
• Record and track deposits, including checks and electronic receipts
• Match incoming funds to corresponding invoices and orders
• Manage accounts receivable and assist with collections as needed
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
• Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as assigned
• Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and reporting
• Utilize QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping and financial tracking

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience with QuickBooks Online strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
