Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, alignments, shocks & struts, and tire services.
- Repair and maintain diesel engines and powertrain systems with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, welding, and auto body repairs.
- Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other automotive electrical systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with diverse vehicle makes and models.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
- Expertise in ADAS calibration, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software.
- Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, and wheel alignments.
- Ability to read technical manuals accurately and follow detailed repair procedures.
