Procurement Claims Supervisor

<h2>A Day in the Life:</h2> <p>In the position of Procurement Claims Supervisor, you will perform the end-to-end research, investigation, and&nbsp;resolution of claims. Research complex, high-value claims—including engineering-related issues such as packaging,&nbsp;downtime, quality control, and transportation—and acts as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners.&nbsp; Ensure all claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in a manner that protects the company’s financial and&nbsp;operational interests.</p> <h2>The Impact You'll Make:</h2> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for collecting, reviewing, and validating all required claim documentation,&nbsp;including but not limited to engineering reports, Quality Control (QC) reports, Cash on Deliveries (CODs), invoices, and<br>supporting evidence.</li> <li>Calculate all applicable claim costs such as transportation, destruction, sample shipments, rework, and any other<br>incremental expenses.</li> <li>Support and guide the Procurement Claims team by monitoring claim dwell times, identifying roadblocks, and<br>proactively removing barriers to ensure timely claim closure.</li> <li>Follow up on submitted claims to ensure prompt payment and closure, maintaining clear visibility into outstanding<br>items.</li> <li>Act as the first line of escalation for disputed claims, driving timely and cost-effective resolution by gathering<br>additional support documentation, facilitating internal or external cross-functional discussions, and appropriately<br>pushing back on co-packers or vendors when necessary.</li> <li>Maintain an understanding of regional claim requirements, including foreign exchange and currency considerations.</li> <li>Prepare and deliver monthly claims Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and provide quarterly support for<br>Monster Energy business reviews to be discussed with upper leadership, as well as building decks on reports for review<br>meetings with leadership.</li> <li>&nbsp;Develop and manage relationships with vendors and co-packers, particularly high-profile supply partners, ensuring<br>claim handling remains controlled, transparent, and aligned with partner expectations.</li> <li>Identify recurring issues, trends, or risk exposures and recommend process improvements to reduce future claim&nbsp;frequency and financial impact.</li> </ul> <h2>Who You Are:</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in the field of Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field of study preferred.</li> <li>&nbsp;1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Claims Management, Operations, or<br>related field</li> <li>Minimum 1 year of experience in supervisor or lead capacity preferred</li> <li>SAP experience and Smartsheet experience preferred.
