Head of Content
We’re building something new at the intersection of fintech and marketplace — a mobile-first consumer app called Moe. And we need a Head of Content to help the world understand what that is.
This is a day-one role. You’ll work directly with the CEO to build our brand voice, content strategy, and narrative from scratch. No playbook. You’re writing it.
The Role
You’ve operated at scale before — you know what great content looks like because you’ve shipped it. But now you want to own it entirely. To be the person who built the thing.
You’ll define how Moe shows up across TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and Discord. You’ll translate a genuinely novel product into content that resonates with a mainstream consumer audience. And you’ll build the systems, the team, and the strategy that scales with us.
What You’ll Do
- Define Moe’s brand voice and content philosophy from the ground up
- Build and own content strategy across all channels — driving acquisition, retention, and community growth
- Develop platform-native strategies for TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and Discord
- Partner directly with the CEO and product team on launches, campaigns, and storytelling
- Establish the workflows, measurement frameworks, and team structure that scale
- Be the creative decision-maker — hiring and managing creators, talent, or agencies as we grow
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience building or leading content/brand at a high-growth B2C, DTC, or consumer mobile company
- You’ve worked at scale — and now you want to own it from day one
- Deep fluency in short-form, social-first content (you understand TikTok culture, not just TikTok tactics)
- Comfort with or strong interest in fintech and marketplace products
- A collaborator who knows how to work alongside a founder at the executive level
- Data-literate with strong editorial instincts
- Low ego, high standards
Bonus: community-led content experience (Reddit, Discord), personal finance/investing background, or prior experience as an early content hire at a startup that scaled
