Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production Team by bringing your cloud expertise to cutting‑edge defense initiatives. You will help shape and evaluate cloud architectures, guide solutions through design and implementation, and collaborate closely with government customers and prime contractors. Your work will support MDA’s M&S, integration, and test efforts across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure environments. You may also contribute to analyzing systems engineering processes to ensure the successful integration and performance of cloud‑based capabilities. This position is located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
Duties of a Senior Cloud Engineer may include:
- Develop and review Framework Software in the Cloud (SWIC) requirements, as well as Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents (ICDs), including those supporting the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) Ground Test Integrated System Simulation (GTISS).
- Actively participate in Agile software development increment planning for the Framework, RepBox, and CTM programs, ensuring alignment across technical and programmatic objectives. Responsibilities also include drafting and reviewing technical documentation such as briefings, white papers, and engineering reports.
