Role Description This is a full-time Agricultural Sales Representative role based in Patna, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Agricultural Sales Representative will build and maintain relationships with farmers, distributors, and retailers, promoting Mithala Pride’s agricultural products and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting client sites, understanding crop and input requirements, presenting product benefits, negotiating orders, and ensuring timely delivery and follow-up. The role also involves gathering market intelligence, tracking competitor activity, and sharing customer feedback with internal teams to refine offerings and sales strategies. The representative will prepare sales reports, meet defined targets, participate in local demonstrations or field days, and collaborate with colleagues in marketing, operations, and customer support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in agricultural or field sales, preferably working directly with farmers, dealers, or agri-input retailers.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain technical product information in simple, practical terms.
• Basic knowledge of crop production, seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals, farm equipment, or related agricultural inputs.
• Comfort using mobile or web-based tools for reporting, customer follow-up, and maintaining sales records.
• Ability to travel regularly within and around Patna, including field visits to farms and rural markets.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English and local/regional languages, with cultural awareness of rural communities, is an advantage.
