Job Description
As an Associate IT Support at Mitel, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to Mitel employees. Your work in this dynamic and fast-paced environment will involve delivering IT support services via phone, email, and in person to ensure high customer satisfaction among Mitel staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Handling requests for assistance across all aspects of the IT infrastructure
- Providing general desktop/laptop support, including software installation, configuration, and diagnosing equipment failures
- Supporting users through network and service access issues
- Managing requests for additional system access
- Conducting troubleshooting and fault investigation across the entire IT infrastructure
- Assisting in onboarding and departure processes for staff, including new joiner equipment and account setup, as well as account termination for leavers
- Supporting initiatives to enhance Mitel's IT environment such as equipment replacement and software/patch rollouts
- Contributing to the development of the Mitel IT knowledge base and IT help information
**Qualifications Required:**
- 2 to 4 years of experience in an IT support role
- Experience in interacting with international/global customers
- Excellent phone presence and high professional acumen
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to resolve issues under pressure and adapt to change
- Quick learning of technical concepts and terminologies
- Availability to work on rotating shift patterns including night shifts and weekends
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Windows desktop and Mac desktop environments
- Familiarity with Windows Server back-end infrastructure (Domain, AD, etc.)
- Knowledge of IP network infrastructure and configuration (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Understanding of IT security principles (firewalls, corporate virus checking, DMZs, VPN, etc.)
- Ability to work rotational shifts across APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions
