Role Description

We are looking for a full-time / part-time / internship Expert Network Research Associate to support project delivery and expert engagement across sectors such as healthcare, finance, technology, consumer goods, energy, and emerging industries.

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager to identify, screen, and coordinate with industry experts based on specific client project needs. You will use channels such as LinkedIn, industry associations, professional databases, academic sources, and other public research tools to locate relevant expert candidates, assess their background fit, and communicate with them regarding potential project participation.

You will also support the project management process by coordinating expert interview schedules, tracking project progress, following up on meeting execution, and ensuring key information is accurately recorded in internal systems. In addition, you may assist with background research, market data collection, expert profile preparation, interview note organization, and other materials that support client deliverables.

This position is suitable for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable with professional communication, and interested in consulting, expert networks, market research, or business analysis. The role can be performed remotely, with flexible working arrangements depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and recruit relevant industry experts based on project requirements.

• Use LinkedIn, professional networks, industry associations, academic databases, and public sources to screen potential expert candidates.
• Communicate with experts to understand their background, assess fit, and confirm interest in project participation.
• Support the Project Manager in scheduling expert interviews and coordinating meeting logistics.
• Track project progress, update task status, and follow up on execution details.
• Organize interview notes and ensure relevant information is accurately entered into internal databases.
• Conduct desk research on industries, companies, market trends, and sector-specific topics.
• Assist in preparing expert profiles, background summaries, industry research materials, and other project documents.
• Maintain expert relationships and support the development of a long-term expert resource pool.
• Assist with changes in client requirements and help ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, or currently pursuing a degree. Academic backgrounds in business, economics, finance, management, medicine, life sciences, technology, engineering, data analytics, or related fields are preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with experts, clients, and internal team members.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese

is required.

• Good research and information retrieval skills, with the ability to quickly identify relevant people, companies, industries, and professional backgrounds.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn, search engines, online databases, email, messaging tools, and other digital research channels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; basic data organization and analysis skills are preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under time-sensitive project conditions.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working remotely.
• Previous internship or project experience in consulting, market research, expert networks, executive search, investment research, healthcare research, technology research, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience with expert network firms such as GLG, Capvision, AlphaSights, Third Bridge, Guidepoint, or similar organizations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of one or more industries, such as healthcare, biotech, finance, renewable energy, AI, SaaS, consumer goods, or advanced manufacturing, would be an advantage.
