MillerNet HR & Business Solutions is proud to partner with Cove Continuity Advisors Inc.(coveadvisors.com) to recruit an exceptional Life Insurance Case Manager & Operations Lead. Location preference: We strongly prefer a candidate in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver BC to support occasional in-person functions. We will consider outstanding candidates anywhere in Canada, but those outside the Lower Mainland must bring significant life insurance and underwriting experience to overcome the remote nature of the role and demonstrate immediate impact.
The Role
You’ll be the operational anchor of the business—supporting advisors, managing underwriting flow, and ensuring files move smoothly from application to policy issue. You’ll bring leadership, order, calm, and momentum to a high-trust, high-accountability team.
Must-Haves
- Experience in the life insurance industry
- Strong individual life underwriting experience
- Life insurance licensed in British Columbia (or immediately able to be)
- Proven case management, documentation, and follow-through
- Comfortable working Pacific Time core hours
- A true ownership mindset and a client-first attitude
What You’ll Do
- Manage new life insurance business from application to policy issue
- Complete and coordinate new life insurance applications.
- Coordinate and communicate with underwriters, carriers, advisors, and clients
- Track AIRs and outstanding requirements, following up proactively and consistently
- Ensure applications, disclosures, and documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant
- Maintain clean, organized digital files and update internal tracking systems
- Support client communication that is clear, calm, and confidence-building
- Help refine and improve workflows, checklists, and SOPs to keep the business scalable
- Assist with light financial admin coordination (as required) and help keep operational reporting on track
- Support licensing and compliance management for the team and carrier relationships
- Coordinate with marketing partners to ensure timely execution of agreed initiatives
- Contribute to team rhythm: meeting support, planning assistance, and occasional project ownership
- Step into evolving responsibilities as the business grows—because in a nimble company, initiative matters
