We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units in residential settings. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively, providing comfort and satisfaction to our clients.

We are offering a $10 000 sign on bonus. The Technician will receive $1000 upon signing, and $3000 per quarter.

Duties

Install new air conditioning systems according to specifications and building codes.

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.

Repair or replace defective components, including compressors, fans, and electrical parts.

Conduct system inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job.

Communicate with clients regarding service recommendations and provide education on system operation.

Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Experience

Candidates should have a solid background in mechanical work with the following skills:

Proficiency in HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair.

Canadian Red Seal in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning with minimum 5 years experience in Residential Installation, Maintenance and Service work.

Commercial experience in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is not required but considered an Asset.

Reliable, Honest, Trustworthy, Takes Pride in Quality of Workmanship, Time Management Skills and Experience.

Experience using Jobber System would be considered an Asset.

Bilingualism would be considered an Asset but not a requirement.

Willingness to Travel outside of Province would be considered an Asset.

Experience reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks as needed.

Familiarity with boiler systems is a plus.
