Join Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, VA as an Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Technician! In this role, you will support our production and R&D areas by providing outstanding sample analysis in an innovative laboratory environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced analytical instrumentation and collaborate directly with internal customers to ensure exceptional service.

Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and consistent sample analysis using analytical instruments and lab equipment.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory solutions, reagents, and chemical inventories.
- Manage laboratory supplies, consumables, and overall workflow efficiency.
- Communicate professionally with internal customers to support analytical and production needs.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment, including 12‑hour night shifts.
- Apply strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills when interpreting technical data.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risk prior to making critical decisions.
- Utilize standard office software and job‑specific tools while maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
- Comfort working in a high‑efficiency and technically dynamic environment
- Flexibility regarding responsibilities and shift assignments, encompassing 12‑hour overnight shifts
- Strong motivation to learn and expand technical and analytical skill sets
Preferred Qualifications
- AS degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry or a related field (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering), or more than one year of prior laboratory experience
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risk when making critical decisions
- Proven ability to accurately analyze and interpret complex analytical data
