Administrator - Unix & Linux (UL1)

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for proactive monitoring, investigation, restoration, resolution, and triage of Unix and Linux systems. Your role will involve ensuring process compliance, detailed reporting, and adherence to SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and investigate logs to identify possible issues and locate the device or service causing the problem
• Restore and resolve issues by implementing troubleshooting steps and referring to knowledge bases for resolution
• Escalate to L3 SME if issues persist or are unknown, and support the troubleshooting process
• Ensure process compliance by updating tickets regularly, preparing shift handover reports, following escalation matrix, and tracking tickets for SLA adherence

Qualifications Required:

• Education: Any Graduate (Engineering / Science)
• Skills:
• Technology: Operating System with knowledge on performance management for OS
• Technology: System Administration with expertise in Windows Server Administration
• Technology: Operating System with working knowledge on multiple Windows OS platforms and configuration on different roles like Domain, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WSUS
• Certification: Unix Administration
