Help Desk Administrator Job Description
- Serve as the first contact with clients who need technical assistance
- Talking to clients through basic problem-solving processes.
- Respond to difficult customers with patience and take quick actions.
- Diagnosing issues with computer software, peripherals, and hardware.
- Providing support in person, over the phone, or via remote access.
- Give step-by-step guidance to customers over the telephonic call or schedule a screen share session.
- Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
- Completing support tickets.
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- administer help desk software
- log all help desk interactions
- Research questions using available information resources
- Provide needed information on IT products or services
- Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
- Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
- Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
- track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Track the common issues faced by the customers and follow-up regarding the same with the technical team.
- prepare activity reports
- inform management of recurring problems
- stay current with system information, changes and updates
- help update training manuals for new and revised software and hardware
- Make sure the best customer services are provided to the clients.
- Provide technical support and training to the junior staff of the Help Desk.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
